The service

What Sentinel provides

Sentinel is an evidence-oriented compliance assessment platform. We analyse software repositories and technical artefacts to generate assessments of alignment with the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689).

Static code analysis

Automated analysis of source code repositories across 15 programming languages.

Article-level scoring

Compliance scoring and evidence classification per EU AI Act article requirement.

Compliance reports

Findings, dossier documents and delta comparisons between successive assessments.

Your content

Customer Content — your code stays yours

Everything you submit to Sentinel belongs to you. Always.

Ownership

All source code, documentation and content you submit remains your property. Sentinel acquires no ownership rights.

Limited licence to process

You grant Sentinel a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely to provide the compliance assessment service. It terminates when you delete the scan or your account.

No training use

Sentinel does not use your source code, documentation or any Customer Content to train, fine-tune or improve machine learning models. This is both a contractual and technical commitment.

Reports & assessments

Technical assessment, not legal certification

Important: Sentinel reports are technical assessments only. A Sentinel compliance score does not constitute certification, regulatory approval or a legal opinion on compliance under the EU AI Act or any other regulation.
Sentinel assessments evaluate software artefacts against EU AI Act article requirements
Results do not replace the assessment of a notified body or qualified legal counsel
The absence of findings does not guarantee regulatory compliance
Results reflect the state of submitted artefacts at the time of the scan
Each audit record retains the methodology version used — historical scores are never retroactively modified
You are solely responsible for decisions made on the basis of Sentinel reports
